And I'm not diehard enough to run outside in the dark. Or in the early AM - NOT a morning person!

I did just get a jogging stroller that I intend to use for AJ when E goes back to school in a few weeks. Here's hoping summer's OVER on time this year!MommyVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01654318722904193424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2352135272495579986.post-16943834034272212512012-07-24T10:02:14.621-05:002012-07-24T10:02:14.621-05:00I have 10 weeks until my race, and I find that put...I have 10 weeks until my race, and I find that putting the runs on the calendar helps, which you have done. The mileage mistake was just a mistake; 2.5 v. 3.5 isn't that bad in the scheme of things. Running is about having your head in the game and some days it just isn't. That's ok. It doesn't mean the next runs will be bad too. Can you ever train off treadmill so that you can do a loop that forces you to cover the distance?Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06759799154795242534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2352135272495579986.post-70262443258525146892012-07-24T07:02:13.557-05:002012-07-24T07:02:13.557-05:00Glad you are getting yourself back on track!! But...Glad you are getting yourself back on track!! But...by the way... you are one Person who HAS ALWAYS held herself accountable! You CAN DO THIS. BELIEVE in yourself...... again. :)Momnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2352135272495579986.post-61944554518175259812012-07-24T01:24:18.671-05:002012-07-24T01:24:18.671-05:00Nic - don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes...Nic - don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we need to listen to our bodies and rest when it tells us to rest. It's hard because it messes with your head. But you can go into your next training session with confidence that you have given your body the rest it needs. I'd be happy to to tweet along for some training acocuntability.... goodness knows I'm going to need it for the next 11 weeks. #helpmetrain ? tell me what you have planned and then report back on how you went? I'll do the same... :)Naomihttp://www.naomiirvin.com.aunoreply@blogger.com
